Veterans Set-Up To Do List

Assembly in Thunderdome

Invites/Advertising committee (Kate has checklist)

1. Pull out 3 out of the 4 stands for seating
2. Lay down the tan mats
3. Put out chairs- leave an aisle in the middle (do the chairs need to be wiped down?)
4. Put up the risers (the stands that the podium goes on)
5. Put about 20 of the basketball soft chairs on the stand for speakers
6. Put the podium center stage (located on the stage in the cafeteria) on the risers
7. Find American & Utah state flag with stands and place on podium

Program (Anna has checklist)

8. Put up bunting around the upper thunderdome + on stage (use zip ties to put up bunting- make sure they all look neat and not wrinkled)
9. Decorate the podium with red poppies
10. Put up Welcome Veteran sign above the entrance to the outside doors of the Thunderdome
11. Put up reserved parking signs and directions to park outside
12. Fold all programs and inserts and place on every chair
13. Bring all the flag pins and usher buttons into the Thunderdome (in a box on the floor in the student gov room) and place on podium

Luncheon in the North Gym

Luncheon Group (Sophie has checklist)

1. Take remaining tan mats and layout in North Gym
2. Arrange tables (chairs will be brought over after the assembly is done) + leave tables for Costa Vida, one for a drink table, and one for a dessert table
3. Cover all the tables with red, white and blue butcher paper. Make sure to tuck the butcher paper under with masking table. Make the tables look as neat as possible

Performers & Music (Jackson has checklist)

4. Bring in the large art fold out walls + arrange the art + include a typed description of the symbolism of red poppies and veterans + include that the art was provided for by the Honors 2 Art class
5. Bring up all the forks, red cups, 4 large drinking coolers, blue napkins
6. Put out mason jar centerpieces and place flags inside
7. Hang up 5 military branch flags

Veterans Clean-Up To Do List

Clean Up Thunderdome- Invites & Decorations

1. Put away basketball chairs + put podium back on the cafeteria stage behind the orange curtain
2. Roll up mats and put back in the corner closest with the basketball clock
3. Take bunting down neatly and fold nicely into a plastic bin (do not just thrown them in a bin because then we will have to iron them all over again)
4. Take down Veterans sign outside
5. Take down parking signs outside
6. Push back in the bleachers

Clean Up Luncheon- Performers and Luncheon

1. Put away all chairs and tables into the trailer that is parked outside by the football field
2. Roll up mats
3. Throw away all trash (cups, plates, silverware)
4. Anything that can be used still, put in the student government room
5. Take out all trash to dumpster
6. Take down nicely all poppy paintings and put in a box and label that box (we will be keeping these for next year)
7. Take folding art walls to the art gallery
8. Dump out all rice (into outside dumpster) from centerpieces and place all mason jars in a box and put in the student government room
