3. Today in Class

  • Reminder- once a business donates, bring it to Baker or Hale ASAP so we can count it in our total
  • Reminder- Everyone needs at least 1 caroling date for class points
  • Reminder- If you get a gift card then you and your partner need to check if it's valid (has money on it and is unused) before you can submit it into your total. If it doesn't have anything on it or has been used, please return it to the teacher
  • Class Collections- bring to Montana when you have counted and filled out your folders (Ali- reorganizing after donations are record)
  • Make a backdrop for the Ugly Sweater photo booth
  • Gabe- Find a pizza sponsor for Monday's game
  • Michael & Syd- help organize the money into the baggies
  • Nicole- figure out the top 10 teachers + their totals
  • UPDATE Top Ten Teachers Award ribbons to put by the doors of teachers who are in the lead
  • Amanda- print & cut thank you cards
  • Everyone- update your businesses that you have visited  Report on your business 
  • Once you've finished your first job: build winter scene in commons (snowflakes)
  • What can count as activities during Term 2 (as always, attending games/plays/concerts count):
    • 1 Activity= visiting 2 additional business with business letters
    • 1 Activity= 30 snow flakes
    • 1 Activity= Helping to put up caroling door hangers
    • 1 Activity= Bring 5 people to a Sub for Santa event that are not in student government (Yogurtland, Zupas, Movie night, dance, concerts, caroling)
    • 1 Activity= Additional caroling night (your first time counts towards your grade in Student Gov)
    • 1 Activity= Helping deliver gifts
    • 1 Activity= putting up Sub for Santa reminders on your social media (the website, Yogurtland, Zupas, caroling, etc (only counts for 1 activity) 
      • Example Post: "Tis the season to give! Please help Timpview High School during their annual Sub for Santa, which helps give back to families and individuals in the community. Participate in some of the great holiday events, nominate a family in need, and/or even adopt a family to help during the holiday season.
